4. Apply two coats of paint
Most exterior paints require two coats in order for it to look its best. Make sure you allow enough time for the first coat to dry before applying the second coat. This is pretty standard for all paint jobs, if you don’t let the first coat dry the 2nd coat can peel the first coat off while applying and you will get no where
