Some Helpful Quick Tips below to help, videos coming soon

Interior painting Tips

Prepping your surfaces

Sand your walls, broom or wipe dust of baseboards, caulk trim, mud and sand holes

caulk any gaps or cracks in your trim

cover all floors either cardboard paper or other dropclothes/plastic, tape it to floor tight so it doesn’t move

take off your electric outlet cover plates, store in bin or bag with screws to avoid loss

Now you are ready for an affordable painter

Always shake your paint before pouring into your cut pot (where you will use a brush to cut your lines around trim and ceiling)

Only pour a quarter of the way so you are not drowning your brush, always scrape your brush so paint is dripping everywhere or at all

Save the paint for the actual wall my friends, If you need to learn how to work a brush please view the link below

when you working the brush right, cutting tight lines, going on thick so you don’t have to add multiple coats, always try for 1 even though at time it is impossible – we always to do for complete cover πŸ™‚

Avoid drips and heavy paint sagging, cover well, and you are ready to start rolling within your cut lines

I would also suggest to keep paint brush wet or clean right away, no dry paint or paint brush is ruined.

roll two even coats on wall into your cut lines, cover well, not to heavy, once you hear the roller, you are dry rolling and you need to re dip

make a W as you go on to the wall with wet paint then spread that in your space up and down until evenly covered, try not to dry roll, but usually two coats will be needed for full coverage

this should help. More to come here in future, stay tuned
